Absalom

The Anointed's lieutenant vampire in WSWB. Staked by Buffy in same episode. Character played by Brent Jennings.

This evangelistic vampire is named after a character in the Bible, whose story is told in the second book of Samuel. Absalom, the third son of King David, turned against his father and challenged him for the kingdom of Israel. After a civil war, Absalom was killed by Joab, the leader of King David's army. (2 Samuel 13:20 - 19:10) (Definition Source: Buffy Guide)
Acathla

Acathla was in an obelisk that construction workers dug up outside of town.

"Acathla the demon came forth to swallow the world. He was killed by a virtuous knight who pierced the demon's heart before he could draw a breath to perform the act. Acathla turned to stone, as demons sometimes do, and was buried where neither man nor demon would want to look. Unless of course they're putting up low-rent housing." (Angelus, B1)

Angelus figures out that he can pull the sword out of Acathla and he (Acathla) will suck the world into hell. It takes Angelus' blood to open it and Angelus' blood to close it.

The Mark of Eyghon, worn by his initiates. Eyghon, also called the Sleepwalker, can only exist in this reality by possessing an unconscious host. Temporary possession imbues the host with a euphoric feeling of power. (Ethan burns his off with acid and puts it on the back of Buffy's neck. She later has it removed.) Unless the proper rituals are observed, the possession is permanent, and Eyghon will be born from within the host. Once called, Eyghon can also take possession of the dead, but its demonic energy soon disintegrates the host, and it must jump to the nearest dead or unconscious person to continue living.

Kills Diedre and Philip, then possesses Jenny. Killed by Angel.
