He devoured her mouth, sucking that glossy smile into a passionate moan and when he released her, they were both panting. Angel wanted to turn away from her - or rather run from her, but he couldn't seem to get his feet to move. Buffy snuggled closer, smiling wickedly at him.

"Why'd you stop?" she asked coyly. Her pink tongue came out of her mouth to lick her lips and he watched, wincing in pain.

"Buffy," he groaned, "Please don't do this to me. Just show me where the nest is and we'll take it out."

"Suit yourself," she said, shrugging but keeping her ruthless smile. Angel turned from her - the greatest temptation in his life - and looked over where Wesley, Gunn and Cordy were all standing around staring.

"Get weapons," he growled, "You're all going to help."

"You bet your ass we're going," Cordy said, snapping out of her slack jawed stare at Angel's engorged groin and heading toward the weapons cabinet. "There's no way in hell we're leaving the two of you alone."

Cordy stalked over and grabbed an axe that she knew was too heavy for her to swing effectively, but it was the quickest thing to grab. Buffy was already heading toward the doors and Angel was following closely. A bit too closely for her taste. She headed up the stairs, lugging her weapon with her but stopped at the top of the steps when she realized that Gunn and Wes were not following. They were too busy staring at The Slayer's ass in those skin tight leather pants as she left the hotel.

"Hello?" Cordy barked irritably.

"Yeah, we're definitely going to watch this," Gunn said and then stammered, "I mean, we're going to help."

"Here, here," Wes muttered as he fell into step behind them.

Angel followed Buffy out of the hotel mesmerized by her while he absently swung a large axe at his side. The sway of her hips, her golden skin left visible from the skimpy halter and the sight of her long blonde hair bouncing with her steps were all driving him to complete madness. He moved in closer, catching up easily with his longer strides, and inhaled her scent. He closed his eyes just for a second and almost stopped walking as her fragrance washed over him.

He released a feral snarl as he realized just how lost in her he was. He couldn't even think about getting to the damn nest and he almost didn't care if there was a nest at all. In fact, the only reason he was going there was because that was the direction she happened to be going.

Even as the dangerous sound escaped him, he could almost see her smiling in pleasure even though her back was turned. It made him want to roar in frustration. He hated his demon and despised almost everything he was, but she was aroused by it. He could smell her adrenaline pumping and the decadent smell of her welling honey from where he walked two feet behind her. The sound of her heart beating was deafening. Every step made him want to kill something. It would probably be the only thing keeping him from pulling her into a dark alley and stripping those leather pants off her hot, willing body.

"Angel!" Cordy admonished, trying to hide her own arousal. She had never found Angel quite so irresistible as right then and from the awkward gaits of Wesley and Gunn, she knew they hadn't even noticed Angel made a sound. They were too focused on the Slayer's tight body in front of them.

"What?" Angel snapped, looking briefly over his shoulder at her. The ferocity of his demand and the way he kept walking as if he hadn't spoken to her made her forget what she was going to say. She meant to tell him that he was being too growly, that he should calm down, but her hands were shaking and her body was warming to the idea of sharing any space with the souled beast before her. It was unnerving.

After four or five blocks, Buffy slowed and waved them in closer. Angel involuntarily kept a hand on her lower back as he followed her in a large, dank warehouse that reeked of musty basement smells, oil and death. Gunn choked as he entered behind the group. Wesley's eyes were watering as he stayed in line. The odor, although gag worthy, sent them all in the direction of the nest, where the smell of wasted life was the strongest. They kept to the shadows and close to the filthy walls as they could until they reached the nest, all laying down to rest as the dawn prepared to set in.

"Ready?" Buffy whispered, taking the opportunity to lean against Angel as she made out the forms of a couple dozen vampires around the room.

"Be careful," Angel whispered back even though he should have been saying it to the other three humans who had much less strength and ability as she.

"Always," she said with a smile and wink. As she moved away, she brushed against his groin purposefully, delighting in his low, tortured moan. Smiling broadly, she ran forward and staked the first vamp she reached.
